Academic Integrity in Research & Writing

This course provides a comprehensive overview of academic integrity principles and their application in research and writing. Students will explore ethical practices in scholarly work, understand the importance of honesty, fairness, and transparency, and learn strategies to prevent academic misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification. Emphasis will be placed on proper citation practices, intellectual property rights, and the ethical use of sources in various academic contexts. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will develop critical skills to uphold integrity in their academic and professional pursuits.
