Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI), one of the largest summer schools in Japan, brings together the university’s faculty members and world-leading researchers to provide participants with a unique learning experience. You may choose among more than 150 courses offered in English, including field training and active learning classes that take advantage of the vast fields of Hokkaido. Courses are divided into four types: the Advance Research Course and the Global Liberal Arts Course, both designed primarily for students; and the HSI extension/professional program in English and the HSI extension/professional program in Japanese, providing recurrent education primarily for working professionals. Courses are offered in three formats: face-to-face, online, or hybrid. There are some online courses in which you can learn Japanese.Contents
