STEAM DESIGN THINKING
UX DESIGN (User Experience Design)
Participants will learn about design thinking, a creative problem-solving approach necessary for STEAM, through group work at the atelier. The programs will focus on solving social problems. A new program, 'Design Thinking from Data,' will be introduced in conjunction with data science.

ART on STEAM
BETWEEN TRADITION AND INNOVATION
Our role in STEAM is to learn about creative approaches. We aim to acquire new ideas and problem-solving methods through iterative learning, with hints of discovery. This process will enable us to learn various problem-solving methods from art and entertainment while maintaining a balance between tradition and innovation. The Atelier offers studies on a wide range of topics, from traditional Japanese performing arts to contemporary art, intending to solve problems in a creative and enjoyable manner.

Well-being
SURPASSING DISASTERS
ACHIEVING HARMONIOUS COEXISTENCE WITH SOCIETY
In this workshop, we will focus on a problem-solving approach to well-being rather than traditional methods. Specifically, we will explore the types of well-being that can be achieved in the three stages of a disaster: pre-disaster, during the disaster, and post-disaster.
Additionally, we will discuss how to respond to society and the importance of coexisting with others to solve new problems. This atelier will focus on well-being in specific environments rather than general everyday life.
Sustainability
ESG and SUSTAINABILITY
SUSTAINABILITY FROM VARIOUS PERSPECTIVES
Sustainability is crucial for addressing all societal issues, as represented by ESG, which integrates environmental, social, and governance perspectives. This Atelier will focus on all aspects of sustainability and implement a program to address them. It is a field-based program aimed at discovering and solving issues beyond the campus.

Skills for Society 5.0
DX and SOCIETY
METAVERSE
While technology has advanced to the point where many things can be easily realized, there are still many mechanisms (systems and software) that remain unknown to us. The atelier aims to teach about technologies that are not commonly encountered and to develop practical skills for solving social issues using these technologies. This workshop differs from other workshops in that it focuses on skill acquisition, and the goal is to understand programming, database analysis, data visualization, or technology.
