In April 2022, Osaka Prefecture University and Osaka City University united to form the Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU).
OMU has become the largest public university in Japan with 15 graduate schools in social sciences, science, engineering, medicine etc.
Our goal is to be a world-class university in advanced research that is not bound by the conventional academic framework.
