【SIT Lab Vol.24】Simulation of virtual society elaborated by qualitative methods

"SIT Lab" is a series of articles on cutting-edge research at Shibaura Institute of Technology.
In the 24th installment of this series, Associate Professor Manabu Ichikawa of the Department of Planning Architecture and Environmental Systems presents "Simulation of virtual society elaborated by qualitative methods".

This is not a mathematical-only simulation. The phenomena are captured by people living in an imaginary town on a computer that mimics the real world, getting closer to the essence of the social issues.
