Understanding the IPCC AR6 WG2 - Session 1 — How Different Climate Change Scenarios Impact the Human and Natural World —

We will see how a changing climate will increase seasonal flooding, droughts, and extreme temperatures, events that will impact diverse aspects of human existence. Those changes will also impact growing seasons and food productions, and impact fish harvests from rivers and oceans -- threatening food and water security around the world. We will also investigate how a changing climate may impact ecosystems throughout the world. Species extinctions and ecosystem collapses are likely in most of the climate scenarios. A decrease in biodiversity will not just have an impact on the natural world, but will impact the human world, too.
