Food for Future

You may wonder how Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and extreme weather events are threatening our food security and derailing our efforts to achieve the SDGs. It may not be easy to imagine how we eat and produce food will accelerate climate change and increase infectious diseases, and thus destabilize our food systems. The speaker will provide insights into the history behind the today’s food systems, explore the relationship between food and the SDGs, and propose actions for planetary healthy eating practices.
