Security export control

Security export control

An international framework centered on developed countries (an international export control regime) has been created in order to prevent advanced goods and technologies held by developed countries from falling into the hands of terrorists or states that pose security concerns, and it is strictly managed in coordination with international companies. Based on this framework, Japan establishes the goods and technologies subject to regulations and implements export controls under the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and related laws and regulations, etc.
