MOOC - Library Skills

UTM Library conducts Library Skills programs with the purpose of guiding students and staff to enhance their information searching and retrieval skills, fostering information literacy crucial for education and research in science, technology, and engineering. We also offer a variety of other services to researchers, academicians, and students. This course is designed to assist library users in improving their information searching skills, thereby fostering information literacy. It covers various techniques such as database searching, managing user library accounts, utilizing document management systems, inter-library loans, accessing the UTM institutional repository, employing EndNote reference manager, Turnitin similarity checks, and more. Targeting UTM researchers, academicians, and students, this course emphasizes the importance of information literacy in navigating today's vast pool of knowledge effectively.
