Multicultural Co-Learning Activity for Proposing Educational Policies Contributing to Solving Global Issues

Participants will understand the existence of diverse global issues, consider the educational policies necessary to solve them, and then propose educational policy solutions. To this end, they will conduct fieldwork in China and Thailand and engage in discussions with students from those countries. Students set their own global issues to examine in China and Thailand during preparatory learning. During the field work, students collaborate with CA6 students dispatched from our university, students from East China Normal University (China), and students from Khon Kaen University (Thailand). They conduct fieldwork and discuss solutions for the global issues they have set. Based on these discussions, students will propose their own solutions and discuss them. After fieldwork, students will reflect on the entire on-site activity and submit a report proposing educational policies to solve the global issue.
