Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology Summer Program

This program aims to foster an understanding of Egypt's social and environmental challenges while encouraging participants to propose solutions from the perspective of individual stakeholders. It will conduct a 10-day on-site study program at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology.

Content/学習内容

In cooperation with Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), this 10-day program includes:
・Lectures and workshops on Egypt’s society, environment, culture, information society, and design thinking-based problem solving
• Visits to relevant Egyptian sites and Egyptian/Japanese companies related to the environment
• Discussions with student startups and business incubators
• Group work focused on understanding and solving issues
These activities will be conducted alongside E-JUST students.
The outcomes of these activities will be shared at presentation sessions held at both E-JUST and University of Tsukuba.

Course Requirements

Possess English proficiency sufficient to teach undergraduate-level courses.
Have an interest in social and environmental issues.

Evaluation Method

Achievements will be evaluated through presentations at the debriefing sessions held at E-JUST and the University of Tsukuba.
