Environmental Assessment of Products - Methods of life cycle impact assessment for products and services and their situation in Japan

There are many categories to evaluate the environment, including not only global warming, but also air pollution, water pollution, the impact on human health, and biological diversity. In this lecture, we will explain what to consider, evaluation methods, and evaluation criteria when conducting environmental evaluations of products and services. Life cycle assessment is an evaluation method used around the world that visualizes the environmental impact of each stage from raw material collection to production, distribution, use, and disposal. We will explain life cycle assessment using a product as an example.
