Education on Scientific Local and Environmental Human Resources: Natural Environment and Lifestyle

We will focus on protection of the natural environment, biodiversity, water and food, and Mie Prefecture's characteristic agriculture and fisheries, which are the foundation of areas relevant to the natural environment and lifestyle, and provide an overview of these from an environmental perspective. We will then examine the issues that society currently faces in these areas, and look at measures taken by Japan and the rest of the world to address these issues. Students' environmental awareness will be heightened through this discussion.
