Geographic Perspectives and Thinking in Senior High School

The online course " Geographic Perspectives and Thinking in Senior High School" is part of the SEAMEO School Network Program and is composed by four lessons as follows:1. The Nature of Geography Education in Japan: An International Comparative Perspective; 2. Introduction of Compulsory Subject “Geography” in Japanese Senior High School; 3. Lesson Practice of Compulsory Subject “Geography” (1); and 4. Lesson Practice of Compulsory Subject “Geography” (2).These videos were produced by CRICED-University of Tsukuba with the direction of associate professor Hyunjin KIM and the collaboration of invited guests, emeritus professor Yoshiyasu Ida, and two senior high school teachers. The videos are open for all the participants.
