  • The Origin of the Mind and Its Visualization (1)

We will aim for a basic understanding of the origin of the mind and the technology to visualize it. Characteristics of humanness include advanced cognitive processing and social skills. We understand and control language and take diverse meanings from our environment. And we communicate with others, understand their invisible minds, and create a complex society through communication. In this context, we manipulate various things as abstract concepts to achieve a high level of thinking and creativity.

  • The Brain that Creates Humanness (1)

We will look at the complex mind and brain mechanisms that people have developed to live in society. Because of their advanced cognitive processing and social nature, humans have created a sense of “self” that differs from others. The self is the agent of this body, movement, and thought, a being in the eyes of others, and a being who has some values and roles in this society. This self is the core of our humanness, but it also creates a variety of existential and social problems.
