Understanding the IPCC AR6 WG3 - Session 2 — How it is All Connected: Global Cooperation and Sustainable Development —

Climate change is a global problem. Often, GHGs are emitted in one country to produce products for another country. This is very true for steel and concrete, and even cellphones. Whose GHGs are these? And who benefits and who doesn’t? These are very complicated questions that don’t have easy answers. But GHGs impact the whole world – and climate disasters often impact the most vulnerable and poor communities. The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) offer an important tool to help solve the climate challenge. In this lecture we will look at innovative ways of rethinking how we all can work together.
