Function Structure and Prototyping in Design Methodology

Functional structure analysis in design methodology describes two structuring methods: one is the ISM method, which is a model that uses a hierarchical structure to represent the hierarchical relationships. The other is the POSA model, which constructs a partial picture as well as a whole picture by constructing partial scales. Prototyping in design methodology covers two methods: methods of prototyping in hardware and methods of prototyping in software. Prototyping in hardware involves learning prototyping methods aimed at understanding the shape and size of the prototype. Prototyping in software is learnt as prototyping with a focus on understanding screen transitions.
