【SIT Lab Vol.12】A direct steam generation system that desalinates seawater using only sunlight.

“SIT Lab” is a channel that introduces laboratories at Shibaura Institute of Technology (Tokyo, Japan), which has diverse research fields.
In the 12th lecture, Professor Lei Miao, IGP:Innovative Global Program, will talk about a direct steam generation system that desalinates seawater using only sunlight.

Using solar energy and the physical phenomenon of evaporation at low temperatures (the power of nature), we will take on the challenge of water desalination and sewage treatment. The goal is to be able to produce water anywhere in the environment where it is needed through energy conservation and low cost.
