【SIT Lab Vol.21】The science of craftsmanship

This is the 21st installment of SIT Lab, a series of articles on cutting-edge research at Shibaura Institute of Technology.
In the 21st installment of this series, Professor Hirotake Kanisawa of the Department of Architecture discusses the science of craftsmanship and its application to human resource development in the construction industry.
One of the reasons why people leave the construction industry is that it takes a long time to acquire skills. What will happen if we use sports science to visualize skilled techniques and reform the education and training system for building technicians? What will happen?
