“SIT Lab” is a series of articles on cutting-edge research at Shibaura Institute of Technology (Tokyo, Japan), which has diverse research fields.
In the 14th lecture, Assistant Professor Yasmin Bhattacharya, Systems Engineering and Science/Planning, Architecture and Environmental Systems and Innovative Global Program (IGP) will talk about “Protecting the World's cities through simulating Japanese disaster evacuation”.
Many cities and regions in Japan and around the world are threatened by a variety of natural disasters. If people were able to reach evacuation sites smoothly when a disaster occurs.
