Lecture Title: Transdisciplinary Research for Global Environmental Change and Societal Sustainability - Future Earth
Lecturers: Prof. Fumiko Kasuga (Global Hub Director, Japan Hub, Future Earth International Secretariat) and Dr. Lambino Ria Adoracion Apostol (Research Foundation International Center, Research Institute for Humanity and Nature)

YOKOHAMA-SXIP Program includes the overview lectures on SX Global Issues beyond the expertise of each of the student, by invited lecturers from inside or outside of the university. The purpose of this is to help you identify your own issues in the group work, and to provide you with up-to-date knowledge of SX trends in the world and Japan. By watching this overview lecture, you are encouraged to find issues close to your own specialty. We believe that this will help you achieve one of the goals of this program, which is to discover sustainability issues in global society and create solution technologies by utilizing advanced technologies in a cross-disciplinary manner.
