JAPAN-U.S. Joint Summer Program AI 2026

Together with three U.S. Universities that lead the world in digital human resource development (The University of Texas at Austin, Arizona State University, and Purdue University), this program aims to offer Japan’s and US’s students an excellent opportunity to step by step acquire internationally recognized and highly advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information and Data Literacy skills, abilities and experience needed to in the future play a constructive role of leading international discussions on the development/application of AI and creating a new society where humans and AI coexist harmoniously and positively. The program also intends to establish a strategic partnership and a solid foundation for international exchanges with those three U.S. university entities to develop highly specialized human resources in the AI era. Science and technology feed off of one another, propelling both forward. The partnership with the shared aim of stimulating new research collaborations with those three leading universities in the U.S. envisages an effective platform where the member universities share their experiences and add value to the society by leveraging cutting-edge digital technologies such as AI
