🌟Lab Spotlight🌟|Unboxing the Wonders of "The New World of Science"! —— NTU NEMS Research Center

Taiwan has become a superstar in the global semiconductor industry because of its robust ecosystem. In addition to the government support and suppliers’ and manufacturers’ contributions, the talent cultivation system at school is also an important factor. To cultivate semiconductor talents and develop innovative technology, National Taiwan University established Nano-Electro-Mechanical System Research Center in 1998. We are privileged to have Professor Chein-Fu Chen, the head of the center, introduce the center. This academic research institution specializes in artificial intelligence, biomedicine, quantum computing, innovative semiconductor materials, and advanced semiconductor device fabrication. Invested over three hundred million NT dollars, the center is well-equipped, with comprehensive space planning, including clean rooms, analysis rooms, thin film deposition rooms, etching rooms, and furnace rooms, which facilitate effect research. Furthermore, to enhance semiconductor manufacturing processes and bridge academia with industry, the center collaborates with the Graduate School of Advanced Technology and the Office of Research and Development to establish practical semiconductor process courses. These courses offer students valuable hands-on experience, ensuring their preparedness for real-world challenges.
