Subject, history, relationality: life writing by Italian-Australian Women in the late Twentieth Century
DR. ALICE LODA University of Technology Sydney (Senior Lecturer International Studies and Global Societies) -Overview- In this lecture, I explore a series of autobiographical writings by Italian-Australian women in the late twentieth century. Iconnect these autobiographical practices to broader feminist and migration studies frameworks and translingual writing trajectories, highlighting the complex subjectivities that they foreground. Focusing on relationality as both a generative and disruptive force, I discuss how these writings resonate through personal and collective histories, creating transformative narratives that propagate locally and transnationally.
