The Bodleian Library is the main research library of the University of Oxford. Founded in 1602 by Sir Thomas Bodley, it is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. With over 13 million printed items, it is the second-largest library in Britain after the British Library.

 

The University of Oxford Bodleian Libraries is a group of 27 libraries that serve the University of Oxford, open to staff, students and other readers.  The University of Oxford Bodleian Libraries and the Partner University agree to use the Bodleian Libraries provided by the University of Oxford in accordance with the terms set forth in the provisions.  The Memorandum of Understanding refers exclusively to use of the University of Oxford Bodleian Libraries on site.

 

For Institutions of Higher Education

Fee for a year:3,500 GBP per person

Fee for a term:1,500 GBP per person

◎ Michaelmas Term: Sunday 12 October 2025 – Saturday 6 December 2025

◎ Hilary Term: Sunday 18 January 2026 – Saturday 14 March 2026

◎ Trinity Term: Sunday 26 April 2026 – Saturday 20 June 2026

 

★ For 4 weeks:1,000 GBP per person

 

★ For 2 weeks:700 GBP per person
