Seminar for Co-Creating Harmonious Future
- Africa, development, environment, multicultural coexistence, design thinking, project-based learning
In this course, students will explore how to co-create a sustainable future for global society. Students will learn that both universal (global) and local perspectives are important, and will investigate the key factors needed to achieve this goal. Focusing on environmental issues, students will design their own project by conducting research and analysis. Building on the knowledge acquired in the introductory course on Lectures for co-creating harmonious future, students will go through a series of practical steps—from identifying real-world problems to proposing effective solutions. Through this hands-on process, students will develop skills in research, critical analysis, and solution design, enabling them to address complex social and environmental challenges. Note: Due to the time difference with Ghana and Japan, most classes will be offered on an on-demand basis. The final project presentation will be conducted live.
