Mental Health with Times with Crisis ~Session 3~

This course draws on the instructor’s practical work and research in providing psychological support to teachers in wartime Ukraine. Students will learn how crises affect mental and physical health and explore ways to protect and restore mental well-being. Topics include the basics of crisis, stress, and trauma; ambiguous loss; coping with fear and anxiety; Morita Therapy; social support; self-compassion; restoring mental and physical energy; hope; and resilience. By connecting psychological theory with the practice of psychological support in wartime, students will gain useful knowledge and perspectives for supporting both their own well-being and that of others. This lecture series consists of seven sessions, and this lecture is the third in the series.
