Modern Japan Program, Nanzan University

The Modern Japan Program (MJP) helps students deepen their knowledge of historical and contemporary Japan. Experienced, specialist faculty foster students’ understanding of Japan through discussion, lecture, and fieldwork courses, all taught in English. All MJP students also complete a semester-long research project about Japan. Through daily Japanese Language Courses, students also develop fundamental Japanese language skills.
