Cryptosystems and Authentications to Achieve Privacy Protection

We will introduce symmetric-key encryption, public-key encryption, and electronic signatures as encryption and authentication technologies currently in use, and their applications including encryption on the web and server authentication. Next, we will explain privacy issues in the IoT era. We will then introduce anonymous authentication, which is a new authentication technology that hides the ID, and explain its basic configuration principle. In addition, we will introduce privacy protection in road-to-vehicle communication and crowd sensing as application examples of anonymous authentication.
