After explaining the definition and effects of greenhouse gases, we explain the concept of carbon neutrality to reduce the effects of greenhouse gases. Next, we explain how the international agreement on carbon neutrality was reached and the target values. Also, we define renewable energy as a means to achieve carbon neutrality, explain its types and contents, and then explain the global movement toward renewable energy and innovation in Japan.
