Welcome to The Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth!
The Uzbek-Japan Innovation Center of Youth is a research institute established under the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the governments of Uzbekistan and Japan on October 25, 2015 and started its activities in 2016. It is located in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, within the Tashkent State Technical University. The center has four laboratories: Chemistry and Petrochemistry, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science,and Mining and Deep Processing of Mineral Resources. It is working closely with Japanese universities to advance research, and is also collaborating with industry to solve social issues.

It is working closely with Japanese universities to advance research, and is also collaborating with industry to solve social issues.

Laboratories
[Chemistry and Petrochemistry Laboratory]
Research into catalyst technology and inorganic/organic chemistry.
[Power Engineering Laboratory]
Researching renewable energy, hydrogen energy, and photocatalysts.
[Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science Laboratory]
Research into prototyping using semiconductors and 3D technology. Currently, startups using 3D printers are being established.
[Mining and Deep Processing of Mineral Resources Laboratory]
Research into rare metal refining technology and mining technology.
Our Services
Our center is equipped with a range of inspection equipment, including Gas chromatographs and SEM-EDX, and UJICY researchers with the technical skills can conduct analysis upon request.
