Intercultural collaborative learning activities on educational reform and teacher well-being

Against the backdrop of a globalized society and an increasingly diverse learner population, how to maintain and improve teacher well-being is a new global social issue that has been raised as a new goal by the OECD Education 2030.This program involves participation in lectures in English by international teacher training students currently undergoing training at our university on the current state of educational reform in each region, as well as discussion and reflection. Through these activities, students will raise awareness of the current state of education and its reforms in different cultural contexts, as well as the well-being of teachers. The students will then visit educational policy institutions and schools to conduct fieldwork in which Japanese and international students will learn together, hold collaborative discussions about school education and its reforms in their own countries, and explore ways to resolve issues related to improving teacher well-being during this period of educational change.
