I-GFL Introduction　Interdisciplinary Program for Global Frontier Leaders

Gunma University launched a special program, "Interdisciplinary Program for Global Frontier Leaders" (I-GFL), in April 2026. This program aims to cultivate "universal talent" who can contribute in any environment, regardless of their specialized field, in today's rapidly changing (VUCA) world. Through discussions based on interdisciplinary themes, students deepen their collaboration with students from other faculties and international students, and the program incorporates numerous practical learning opportunities, such as experiencing local industries in Gunma Prefecture in pairs with international students. Through these diverse experiences, students will cultivate the ability to overcome barriers of nationality and specialized fields, and to thrive strongly and flexibly in any setting.
