Environmental toxicology_Part 2

Part 2-Current Hot Issues of Environmental Pollution and One Health; Environmental chemical pollution continues to pose a significant global threat, contributing to millions of premature deaths annually and causing widespread environmental degradation. These alarming challenges underscore the urgent need for comprehensive strategies that address the interconnected dimensions of environmental and human health. Adopting a One Health perspective recognizes the intrinsic linkages among human health, animal health, and the environment, emphasizing the importance of collaborative and multidisciplinary efforts to tackle environmental chemical pollution. By leveraging expertise from diverse fields, including medicine, veterinary science, environmental science, and public health, integrated approaches can effectively reduce risks associated with environmental chemicals while enhancing the health and well-being of humans, animals, and ecosystems alike. This course ultimately highlights the One Health framework as a practical and effective strategy for addressing the challenges posed by emerging environmental contaminants.
