How to Deal with Anxiety ~Session 6~

This course helps students understand anxiety and apply psychological approaches to everyday life. Students will learn the basics of emotions and anxiety, as well as several major approaches to psychotherapy. They will then explore Morita Therapy, including the concept of arugamama—accepting things as they are—and ways of taking necessary action while experiencing anxiety. The course also introduces self-compassion, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and healthy human relationships. It aims to help students live well alongside anxiety rather than trying to eliminate it. This lecture series consists of seven sessions, and this lecture is the sixth in the series.
