On September 30, 2026, as part of the program of Tsukuba Global Science Week 2026 (TGSW2026), we held an online session entitled “The Forefront of Micro-Credentials: Academia × JV-Campus.”

The session introduced the latest trends and use cases of micro-credentials at universities in Japan and around the world, while also exploring their potential for developing top-level talent. Speakers from higher education institutions engaged in a lively discussion on the future development of micro-credentials and their international applications.
