JV-Campus organized the “Japan Digital Education Festival” event in collaboration with JapanDigitalUniversity
The Japan Digital Education Festival was held on Saturday, February 1 at JapanDigitalUniversity (JDU) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with the aim of creating opportunities to learn and experience Japanese higher education in Central Asia. This event was jointly organized by JDU and JV-Campus (https://www.jv-campus.org/), a major project of the Forum for the Internationalization of Universities (https://www.jfiu.jp/) promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
Mr. Takashi Hatori, Japanese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, also attended the event. The number of visitors reached 456, and JV-Campus was introduced in front of local students in the auditorium of JDU. In addition, lecturers from the University of Tsukuba, Nagoya University, and Kansai University from Japan were invited to give explanations and mock classes at each university to encourage students to study in Japan. In the JDU gymnasium, local students enjoyed Japanese experience events such as calligraphy, wanage, and yo-yo fishing.
