Join your peers at Kansai University in Japan for a short-term intensive online program based on content from world-renowned startup accelerators. Learn how to validate business models and frame solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time under the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
You will build your own impact startup team, gain a better understanding of decentralized tech, foster valuable intercultural communication skills, and start building a professional network with corporate sponsors for future job opportunities!

◆Eligibility 

International students (undergrad and graduate level) currently studying at the Japan Virtual Campus Network Universities who are in good academic standing (recommended minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) are eligible to apply.

Evaluation method

◆Commitment Statement [IMPORTANT] 

IIGE will notify students’ home institutions of the final status of students’ participation and performance in this program. Group activities are an integral and obligatory part of this program. Students who do not participate satisfactorily in their group work will not be eligible to receive a certificate of participation. 

◆Program Hours (60 total)

  • Lectures: 45hrs (lectures of 90min each)
  • Independent & Group Work: 10hrs
  • Virtual Congress: 5hrs

◆Course Credits

Digital Certificates will be issued to students who successfully complete the Program. Students’ host institutions may interpret the certificate to be creditable.

◆Digital Badges

Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible for a digital

badge to be issued by IIGE (Kansai University) within 3 months of program

◆ Language Proficiency Requirements

The program will be conducted entirely in English. CEFR B2 Level (TOEFL iBT 72+, IELTS 5.5+, Cambridge Examination 160+) English proficiency is recommended for non-native speakers.

This program will be conducted 100% online, which requires students to have:

  • a stable internet connection able to handle video calls without interruption
  • a quality microphone/headset
  • a functioning camera-equipped PC

◆Program Fees

Students who take part in early applications will be eligible for 15,000 yen reduction of the program fee (20,000 JPY). Students who apply after Dec. 20, 2022 (JST) will pay full price (35,000 JPY). ※This program accepts credit card payment only (VISA/MASTER/JCB/AMERICAN EXPRESS/SMCC).
