The National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Chinese: 國立臺灣科技大學), abbreviated as NTUST or TaiwanTech (Chinese: 臺科大) is a public vocational university located in Taipei Taiwan. TaiwanTech was established in 1974 as the National Taiwan Institute of Technology, as the first and the leading higher education institution of its kind within Taiwan's technical and vocational education system.
In 1997, NTIT was upgraded to university status and changed its name to the "National Taiwan University of Science and Technology," also known as “Taiwan Tech.”
After 50 years of growth and evolution, Taiwan Tech comprises 7 colleges, including engineering, electrical engineering & computer science, management, design, liberal arts & social sciences, applied sciences, and industry-academia innovation.
TaiwanTech is affiliated with the National Taiwan Normal University and National Taiwan University as part of the National Taiwan University System.

"Pursuit of truth through exhaustive reasoning" is National Cheng Kung University’s motto, and the school therefore features a very down-to-earth academic climate conducive to steadfast pursuit of knowledge and truth.
Since its inception, NCKU has undergone tremendous transformation and growth. Today the school comprises nine colleges: Engineering, Management, Liberal Arts, Sciences, Medicine, Social Sciences, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Planning and Design, and Bioscience and Biotechnology, with 44 undergraduate programs, 37 independent graduate institutes, and 17 degree programs.
While training countless talented students, NCKU has grown symbiotically with the city of Tainan, staying in touch with the pulse of society and forging links throughout the world.
