Fundamentals of Environmental Management System

In this lecture, we will explain the basics of environmental management systems, which are widely used by companies in Japan. First, we will explain the difference between management and management systems. Next, we will explain the international standards, explaining the establishment of the ISO organization and its role. We will then explain the preface of ISO14001, the environmental management system standard. Finally, we will explain the key points to consider when implementing an environmental management system.
