Middle East Peace Process

Israel and Palestine, as well as neighboring countries and Western nations, have been involved in several wars and conflicts since the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine in 1947 after World War II. There have been long-standing discussions about how to bring peace to the region. Based on these discussions, we will examine the problems from different angles and seek solutions.

  • What is the “Middle East Peace Process”?

    Learn about the necessary mindset when studying initiatives to resolve the “Palestinian Question” that persists in the Middle East, and learn about some of the key developments in the so-called Middle East Peace Process.

Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to develop individuals with a wide range of knowledge and perspectives who can work actively in the areas of peacebuilding and international contribution. The goal is for students to gain an understanding of the Middle East peace building dilemma and be equipped to articulate thier perspectives on the ongoing concerns.

Learning Outcomes

1) Expressing opinions: You can clearly convey your own views on the Middle East peace process, supported by evidence.
2) Using materials: You may properly understand the substance of materials and information on the Middle East peace process and utilize it as a foundation for debate.
3) Flexible perspective: You may consider the ideas and arguments of several points of view.
4) Developing arguments: You can clearly and rationally create your own beliefs in an understandable manner, supported by facts.
