Carrying on the Future of Japanese Arts and Crafts

Japanese arts, and in particular crafts, have an old history that goes back to the time of the Shosoin. In what way are these crafts used in the present day, and how are they valued as works of art? What will the future look like for traditional crafts? We will discuss Japanese arts and crafts while looking at works, by focusing on the most active craftspeople of today and unraveling how they work, their artistry, and more
