化粧は古今東西、人類の暮らしと共にあり続ける馴染み深い習慣です。心理学のメインテーマではありませんが、心理学の多様な領域に関わる対象なので、化粧に関する心理学的な研究を通じて、心理学の様々な領域を学ぶことができます。 この講座では、化粧の心理学的研究についてお話しします。心理学領域だけではなく、化粧の歴史や文化についてもお話しいたします。 また、少し寄り道して、化粧を考えるうえで重要なストレスや感情の心理学にも触れたり、化粧研究が社会の中でどのような活用をされているかについてもご紹介します。 身近な習慣である化粧を窓口にして心理学を広く学ぶとともに、化粧という行為への理解を深めていただけることを願っております。
