科学技術が進歩した現代においても、世界には多くの未充足の医療ニーズが存在 しています。本授業では、医療制度や社会的背景の異なる日本とインドを比較 し、医療提供、公衆衛生、感染症対策、先端医療技術などのテーマを扱います。 これらの講義を通じて、学生は医療を比較的な視点から捉え、医療課題について 多角的に考える力を身につけます。

Comparison of healthcare systems in Japan and India, including universal health coverage, the evolution and structure of healthcare systems, and approaches to healthcare delivery.

Exploration of global infectious disease challenges, including antimicrobial resistance, zoonotic diseases, and advances in infectious disease diagnosis and surveillance.

Examination of emerging medical technologies and innovations, including artificial intelligence in surgery, surgical decision support, and advances in biomechanics and orthopedic research.

Examination of how demographic and epidemiological changes influence healthcare needs, with a focus on population aging, long-term care, and evolving approaches to care for older adults.

Exploration of diverse factors influencing human health and healthcare innovation, including epigenetics, mental health, and context-aware approaches to identifying healthcare needs and developing appropriate solutions.

1. 医療課題が医学的要因のみならず、社会制度、文化的背景、技術導入の在り方など多様な要素と相互に関連していることを理解できる。
2. 日本とインドの医療を比較する視点を通じて、一国・一専門分野に偏らない相対的な医療理解の枠組みを身につけることができる。
3. 複数分野(医学・医療科学・工学・公衆衛生等)にまたがる講義内容を統合し、Unmet Medical Needsを切り口として医療課題を自ら考察する力を養うことができる。
4. 将来、医療・工学・国際分野において、社会的背景を踏まえながら課題を発見し、考察するための基礎的素養を形成することができる。
