This special feature aims to provide students with a deep understanding of the qualities and cultural context of contemporary Japanese culture through the study of diverse aspects of contemporary Japanese culture, such as design theory, film and pop culture. Based on an academic approach and by examining the historical and social context of the culture, students will develop a multifaceted understanding of the significance and impact of contemporary Japanese culture. The course provides a valuable learning opportunity for a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Japan.
